I first became aware of Eurochange through an article on the Internet, comparing the amounts that you could get in exchange for Pounds Sterling by way of Euros and US Dollars. Eurochange came out best in all comparisons. Expecting that in order to get this good a deal I would have to do my transactions over the Internet, I was surprised and somewhat delighted to discover that Eurochange has nearly 70 kiosks around the country. Not only that but there were three within a short distance of where I live.
I needed Mexican Pesos and US Dollars for a holiday so I went to the one in Farnborough. I had already checked on the Internet what exchange rates I should expect and had visited my own bank, my previous usual source for foreign currency. I discovered that even for less usual currency, Eurochange offered and exchange rate that was as good as if not better than the best.
I paid with my bank Debit Card, cost me nothing in charges. I was offered and decided to accept, for £3, the guarantee to buy back any unused currency at the same rate at which I had purchased it, so avoiding the buy/sell differential.
So, when changing money in the UK I would always recommend Eurochange for a relatively painless and very good value experience. There's probably a kiosk somewhere near you though not at any airports, so buy in advance.

The shop is about a five minute walk from local car parks and the bus and train stations are about a ten minute walk away.
The shop is very clean and well decorated. There is a counter where the staff sit and the rest of the shop is empty space. There is quite a lot of space for customers to stand.

When ever I need Euros I go here. It is a small shop located at the back of the Grosvenor Shopping Centre at the start of St. Michael's Row. They have the best rates in Chester, they will normally beat Thomas Cook hands down. Quick professional service. They have recently introduced tiered rates so the more you exhange the better rate you get.
They operate commission free, they get their money because the exchange rate they offer is slightly below the real exchange market rate. But it is better than most high street exchanges.

Eurochange is the best place to exchange foreign currency commission free. After I compared several other places, including the post office, M & S and several travel agencies, there was no doubt that Eurochange offered the best rates on both occasions (once when I travelled to Europe and the other when I went to the far east).
Next time, when I'm preparing to travel abroad, I shall not hesitate where to go to exchange currency. Even if you have surplus leftover currency, you can exchange that here free of any extra charge - be sure to keep hold of your receipt just in case.
Sometimes you will need to wait a couple of days for your requested currency to arrive but service is always efficient and normally they have Euros in stock and other common currencies available.
